H-Town Rock

For the Week of April 6th-8th, 2009

Really, we shouldn't have to remind you that The Boss is playing Houston this Wednesday night. Yes, the tickets could be considered expensive (especially when you factor in obtaining a seat with a decent view and all of the wonderful handling and service fees), but there are some artists for whom you shouldn't need to count the costs. Bruce occupies such an illustrious pantheon, and, along with the E Street Band, he will certainly get Toyota Center rocking with excellent music, both new and old. If you do find yourself at The Mink, Warehouse Live, or The Meridian on this evening (for what should be quality shows), we're not going to find too much fault in your musical selection, mostly because the Springsteen concert will be jam-packed with people and our funds are limited these days as well.

Monday, April 6th
Glover Gill Tango and The Octanes at The Continental Club
Hueman and Espantapajaros at Boondocks
Realicide, Yatagarasu, Dog Shit Taco, and We Both Know at Super Happy Fun Land
