H-Town Rock

For the Week of April 13th - 15th, 2009

As you can easily discern on your own, it's a rather thin three days here around Houston, at least in terms of opportunities to hear great live music (our collective waistlines are still ample and soaked in saturated fats). What that does not mean is that there isn't any live music to experience, but more that what is available will be in high demand amongst Houston music-goers. BoomSnake, hailing out of San Diego, CA, will bring some quirky, folky indie-pop to Bohemeo's on Tuesday, while local boys Muhammid Ali will certainly fill The White Swan with tremendous volume and energy. To those of you still lamenting the dearth of live music in the early part of the week: never fear - there's plenty happening around town over this upcoming weekend.
