This gorgeous sunrise with seagull was captured in Kemah just south of Houston. Did you know in 1898 the city of Kemah was originally known as Evergreen? In 1907 residents were polled and they chose the Karankawa word for "wind in face", "face wind", or "facing the wind," Kemah, as the new name of the town.
