Welcome Party For CAMH's New Director Bill Arning

041809_billarning.jpg Remember when we told you about the new director of the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston, Bill Arning? He's finally made it to Houston all the way from Massachusetts, and the CAMH is throwing him a warm Texas welcome this Saturday, April 18. Here are the top reasons you shouldn't miss this event:

  1. Aside from being a world renowned curator and writer, we've heard that Mr. Arning is the nicest guy in contemporary art and looks like someone we'd like to hang out with
  2. They will be serving breakfast tacos, mimosas, and aguas frescas
  3. You'll get to check out the Severo Lara Trio, a string mariachi group from Vera Cruz, Mexico
  4. It's free and open to the public
  5. We love the CAMH and want to show the new director our support
