Photographers Comments:

The Link-Lee Mansion sits at the corner of Montrose and W. Alabama in the 3800 block of Montrose Bvd. in Houston. It was constructed in the Beaux Arts style in 1912 as a home by John W. Link for his family on the outskirts of the city. Mr. Link began to sell off sections of his property which he'd owned through his private company. Soon these little parcels would become the colorful collection of hamlets now called Montrose. The building now houses administrative offices for the University of Saint Thomas.
