For the Weekend of April 23rd-26th, 2009
Maybe we're showing our musical, geographical, and culinary roots a bit too distinctly here, but the lineup for the Texas Crawfish Festival up on Old Town Spring looks ridiculously stellar. Texas Country meets with zydeco, rock, and popular (and local!) retro-cool acts like Buxton and listenlisten to create a three-day affair that live music lovers really shouldn't miss. Then again, with Lamb Of God and As I Lay Dying playing Verizon Wireless, Mos Def at Arena, and Randy Rogers at the House of Blues (all on Friday night!), we will understand if you stay inside the loop for that evening.
And remember, the Houston International Festival continues this weekend, sprawling over parts of greater downtown Houston. For your viewing pleasure, here are links to the schedules for Saturday, April 25th and Sunday, April 26th.
