Daily-ist Thursday: Art Car Volunteer Happy Hour

042309_artcarsta.jpg If you've ever wanted to participate in the Art Car Parade but don't have the mechanical wherewithal (or the garage) to build your own entry, you need to get your engine on down to the Saint Arnold Brewery for their Art Car volunteer recruitment party and happy hour.

St. A's has long been a sponsor of the Orange Show. At tonight's event, you can sign up for a volunteer crew and learn all there is to know about one of Houston's largest free public art events, featuring more than 250 moving masterpieces from all across the United States.

The beer will be free and cold, and pizza will be provided by Candalari's. The Art Car Parade takes place May 9, just two weeks away.

If you can't make it to tonight's happy hour but you still want to volunteer, simply contact the Orange Show.

Art Car Volunteer Happy Hour
Admission: Free
Date and Time: 7-9 p.m. tonight
Location: Saint Arnold Brewery, 2522 Fairway Park Drive, 77092
