Houston Home to Awesomely Bad Hair

Houston is named number 8 out of 13 “Worst Hair Cities” by TotalBeauty.com.

Reasons for the listing were cited as heat, humidity and hard water. Like we didn’t know that already…Thank goodness for ponytails, ceramic hair irons, hair gel and Astros caps!

Other cities mentioned included Phoenix, AZ (extreme climate and hard water), Pittsburgh, PA (pollution), and the worst hair offender, named #1, our neighbor, Corpus Christi, TX. It hails as #7 on the most humid cities list, also has hard water and has a limited amount of hair salons (not to mention the incessant sea breeze).

Next up, Houston makes an appearance on “Best Cities to Purchase and Use Expensive Hair Gels” list.
