H-Town Rock

For the Week of March 27th - 29th, 2009

Though the first three days of this week might be thin in terms of the number of shows available around town, the quality of acts is indeed rather high. On Monday, we highly recommend going to see Hearts of Animals anytime she's performing around town, though we have a decent number of friends and acquaintances who wouldn't miss a show from grindcore gods Napalm Death. For those of you who are fans of the Hayes Carll school of Texas Country, you would be well served to head over to Warehouse Live on Tuesday night to hear the music of Ryan Bingham and his band, The Dead Horses. Finally, Wednesday evening finds uber-cute husband/wife indie-pop duo Mates Of State rolling through town, while always infectious Cake boogies down at the Verizon Wireless Theater. So, do your part for the local economy and go enjoy some great live music!
