Daily-ist Tuesday: Conservation at The Menil

042809_menil.jpg Houstonians curious about the more technical aspects of the arts might be interested in a lecture tonight at The Menil Collection by Chief Conservator Brad Epley. Epley will talk about the field of conservation, and how it relates specifically to contemporary art. He'll also discuss new conservation techniques and steps take over the past year to preserve works included in The Menil Collection.

The lecture is free and begins at 8 p.m.
