Houston Rockets center Yao Ming was named to the All-NBA Second Team yesterday.

The 7-6 center finished the 2008-09 campaign averaging 19.7 points per game while being named to his seventh consecutive NBA All-Star game.
Yao helped lead the Rockets to second round of the playoffs this season, the first time since 1997, while averaging 17.1 points per game in nine playoff games before breaking his foot in Game 3 against the Lakers last Friday.
Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard was the first team selection.
