Scanners (1981)
Runtime: 103 min

10 Seconds: The Pain Begins. 15 Seconds: You Can't Breathe. 20 Seconds: You Explode.

Sounds interesting for a 103 minute movie. Wonder what happens for the other 83 minutes?

David Cronenberg once again delivers, to us, a tale of psychological terror manifesting itself in the physical realm. Infamous for the exploding head scene, Scanners is one of Cronenberg's best. Psychic minds collide in a battle over dominance of their species as the government tries to gain control of an underground group of powerful mediums that use their powers to control anyone to do their will.
