Daily-ist Tuesday: Fred Andrews at Dosey Doe

052609_fredandrews.jpg Not all cool Houston-area events happen inside the Loop, and Houstonist knows our readership extends beyond the beltway. In fact, there's a new-ish coffee shop north in I-45 we've been hearing a lot about, situated kind between The Woodlands and Spring, called the Dosey Doe.

They've been playing host to a lot of Texas musicians lately, and will continue to do the same tonight, when they welcome Fred Andrews, lead singer of the group Honeybrowne.

Andrews' music mixes Texas country with 60s- style folk inspired by bands like Simon and Garfunkel. Tickets start at $10.
