For the Week of June 1st-3rd, 2009
From our vantage point in the high-rise offices of Houstonist, it seems that the temperatures and humidity surrounding us here in Houston, TX have claimed their initial heat stroke victim of this month - the live music opportunities during the first half of this week. This is not to say that there aren't great shows available over the next three days, but these offerings are noticeably thin. All misgivings aside, we are excited to head out to The Mink on Tuesday night for the acoustic musings of Cedar Boy Bailey and Framework and then make our way over to Diverseworks on Wednedsay night for the ethereal, prog-ish sounds of Golden Cities. Do come join us!
