::Ocote Soul Listening Party at The Flat::

Every once in a while, much more often it seems lately, we get buzz about an event from all over. i.e. facebook, twitter, personal emails, old-fashioned telephone calls (on our hip iPhones of course). This event was one of those.

And, no, before you quit your night shift job to head out to the Flat to See Ocote Soul tonight, this is a LISTENING party. The Martin Perna will not actually BE there. But swing by anyway for freshly frozen Mojitos. Still the best in the city, in our humble opinion.

"ESL Music is releasing Ocote Soul Sounds and Adrian Quesada's (of Group Fantasma) new album COCONUT ROCK on June 23rd, and we're gonna celebrate Rocksteady-style tonight!"

DJ Sun has dominated Mondays at the Flat for years. Tonight's Rocksteady set will pay homage to Coconut Rock. Be theres. Really. No joke.
