Houstonist was just working on our end-of-the-week checklist and realized that we haven't oversaturated you with reminders about 600 sq mi: Hidden, Houstonist's second biennial photo show. But maybe we should: The deadline for you to submit your photos is Monday, July 13, which leaves just three full days to get your work to us.
600 sq mi: Hidden is a juried photo show that will show off the less-than-obvious things we love about Houston: hidden places, overlooked people, obscure festivals, those flashes of nature in the middle of the city that can surprise you at every turn. This is your chance to show us your favorite bits of hidden Houston, and your chance to share them with the public, too. The show will be on display in October at Xnihilo Gallery in the Montrose, and we would love to see your photos there.
Of course, you can't be in the show if you don't enter — so get to it. Head over to the show's website, 600sqmi.com, for everything you'll need, from instructions to official rules to the entry form itself (the entire entry process is handled online, so it's super easy). A single entry fee of $15 covers up to three image submissions (and no, sorry, but you can't pay another $15 and send three more images, so choose wisely).
The deadline for submitting your photos is 11:59 p.m. Monday, July 13. We're looking forward to an amazing show!
