::Texas Country Open Mic Night @ Blanco's::

We sometimes forget what a jewel sits at 3406 W. Alabama, but we're reminded each time Donny Taylor swings by Blanco's and hosts Houston's best (and only to our knowledge) Texas County Open Mic Night. That's right. No Nashville in this beer hall. Pure Texas Country.

Wednesday is also Ladies Night at Blanco's. Ladies, head out to scoop up you a real Texas Cowboy. Host band plays from 8:30 to 9:30 followed by an open mike. No cover. Happy Hour starts at 11am and goes till 8pm. Yee-haw, y'all.
