Continental CEO Announces he is Stepping Down

Houston-based Continental Airlines’ Chairman and CEO Larry Kellner announced this afternoon he will be stepping down at the end of the year. Kellner has been with Continental for 14 years, the last five as CEO. Jeff Smisek was selected internally to replace Kellner upon his leave. Smisek is the current company president. Kellner will lead Emerald Creek Group LLC, a new Houston-based private investment firm.
