H-Town Rock

For August 18th-19th

femaledemand.jpg Whoops! Our most sincere apologies for missing yesterday's post, we hope you found something wonderful to attend. We've taken a brief sojourn to Nashville and will return this Thursday, but that doesn't mean we can't give you a few recommendations for tonight and tomorrow.

If we were in town, you'd find us at The Mink tonight, watching We Were Wolves and Satin Hooks, which should be a great local rock show. Wednesday is a bit harder - you can drive out to the boonies for some [gray] hair metal or bounce into House of Blues for Mos Def. Personally, Houstonist would be at [surprise!] The Mink, for two great young bands, Ghost Mountain and Female Demand. We're quite sad we've got to miss it.
