::VerbosCity Real Poets Showcase and Houston Poetry Slam::


Celebrating their return to their original home at Avant Garden, VerbosCity Real Poets host Houston Poerty Slam tonight from 8-11pm. Every 3rd Wednesday of the month Writer's Ink will present this word slinging showcase. Come out and dig some back in the day open mic, a featured artist, and poets competing for a spot on the 2010 Houston Slam Team in a Houston Poetry Slam competition.

This months featured artist will be Jerome Washington and his band Global Village. DJ Kool MD will provide the musical ambiance.
