Daily-ist Tuesday: Town Hall meeting with Al Green

townhall.jpg Houstonist can't understand why all these people are shouting at one another over whether or not people should have health care. It's a complicated issue, we know, but it just seems like the yelling further complicates things. How about a nice civil conversation where everyone has a chance to say their piece?

Congressman Al Green hopes to do that tonight with a town hall meeting at 5 p.m. at The Power Center on Post Oak Road.

Green, a Democrat, is decidedly for health care reform, but that doesn't mean you have to be to attend and ask questions. Show up, act civil, get your questions answered.

Town Hall meeting with Rep. Al Green
Admission: Free
Date and Time: 5 p.m. tonight
Location: The Power Center, 12401 S. Post Oak Rd.
