Houstonist Bartender: End of Summer Brew

Wow, Houston had two days of "fall" weather and now......let the rain come down. We need it, bad - yards are half to mostly dead, the only plants living in the flower beds are weeds. Welcome to Labor Day weekend - and all of the grilling, barbecueing, imbibing usually outdoor gatherings (or indoor if a scattered shower crops up). This weekend we have a tasty and refreshing concoction for you that is as easy to whip up as it is delicious!

End of Summer Brew

12 oz container of frozen limeade
3 - 12 oz bottles of beer from our neighbors to the South (like Corona)
1/2 cup vodka (such as Monopolowa
Lime wedges for garnish

Combine limeade, beer and vodka in a pitcher and stir gently to mix. Pour over ice into a tall glass and garnish with lime. Find your lawn chair, sit in it and sip away. Repeat as needed.

Between all of the new driving laws and all the extra "fuzz" that will likely be on the roads and on the lookout for dumbasses, we ask that you behave yourself and drink responsibly. We won't accept the charges from the county facilities......not that we don't love you and all, we just won't.
