Surely you didn't think that Dr. Houstonist forgot about our weekly session, now, did you? Here's what we found this week:
There was a show at Indie Houston house in August that was unceremoniously busted up by the cops during Buxton's set. Chris P. was filming, and this week he posted a few videos from the night, including everyone singing Happy Birthday to Jason Willis' girlfriend in front of the police, and Chris getting arrested. All well worth watching, in our opinion. See if you can spot Buxton's diehard well underage fan in the mix.
There's a new label in town: Action Town Records! According to Hands Up Houston, upcoming releases include a posthumous Teenage Kicks LP and the next Something Fierce 7" - both of which promise to be awesome.
10th Grade Cutie announced they'll have a Christmas tape and might make their next album a double LP.
Football, etc. started recording their full length this week.
Monotonix destroyed SHFL on Saturday. Here's some coverage.
