Daily-ist Thursday: UH Arts Open House

093009_UH_arts.jpg University of Houston Cynthia Woods Mitchell Center for the Arts has a thriving arts program, and tonight they are giving us a taste of what's in store for the fall season. The UH Arts Open House will feature on-site screen printing, a student dance performance, readings from the Creative Writing Program, live music from the UH Jazz Trio, inflatable sculptures and free food and drink. We're excited about the possibility of fondling period garments at the costume and stage prop "petting zoo". There's nothing like a hoop skirt and petticoats to get our motor running.
