Pink Party and Book Signing @ Nordstrom Galleria

You're invited to stop by the Nordstrom Galleria location tomorrow between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to meet Denise Dameris Hazen, author of "Treat Her Like a Princess: How to Help Your Girlfriend with Breast Cancer" for a very special book signing. Denise faced Stage 3 breast cancer and won! Having endured a double mastectomy, seventeen rounds of chemotherapy and six weeks of daily radiation treatments - she emerged stronger. The treatment itself can get a girl down, but not this one! She fought with determination and unfettered positiveness - with perhaps a touch of sass for good measure.

Stop by, if at all possible, to meet an amazing survivor, buy the book and have it signed. It's a great item for anyone you know who may be facing breast cancer, caring for someone with breast cancer or would just like to have a better understanding of the disease and treatment process (along with a dose of postive attitude). Filled with guidance and inspiration, the book also contains a list of patient resources and a glossary of terms commonly used during treatment. In addition, sales of the book benefit Houston's Pink Ribbons Project. Buy one for yourself, buy some for gifts - at some point each of us knows someone fighting breast cancer, unfortunately.
