Rock Talk, Vol. III

rocktalk2.jpg Sorry to catch you a bit later in the day, Rock Talk is still in beta, if you will. Now let's see what we've collected from the week.

GTRS announced their last show. It's at Big Star Bar on October 24th, and totally free. After this show, they're headed off to Asheville, NC. Yup, North Carolina.

Speaking of shows, there's one hell of a gig at Beer Island this weekend. Tell us again why the hell are we working all day Saturday? Oh yeah, money.

If you're a Low fan like us, then you'll want to be sure to snatch some tickets up for this special event at Diverseworks.

Local label Team Science announced that they'll be releasing a 10-inch record from The Hold Steady's Franz Nicolay.

Rosemary Krust's new Bernt Anker 7-inch, out on Dull Knife, is now available at fine record shops in town.

You don't have to wait until the show to pick up The Literary Greats' new record Ocean Meets the Valley, but the release party will be November 14th at the Continental Club.

Last but not least, there's a great interview with How I Quit Crack in Vice Magazine. Yeah, that Vice Magazine.

See you next week.
