Oldies Birthday Bash - Saturday Night

A party is breaking out at The Big Top, in the 3700 block of Main Street. A birthday party for none other than the King of the Oldies, Allen Hill! Starting around 10:00 p.m. and lasting until 11:59 p.m., there will be a precursor to "the real deal" consisting of dancing and a fabulous musical performance by The Allen Oldies Band (we know it's fabulous because it always is, we can do that math).

At the crack of midnight, the official party begins with Davey Schoenbaum crooning Happy Birthday to Mr. Allen "Oldies" Hill, entertainer extraordinaire. Immediately following will be the official serving of the birthday cake plus, we understand, there will be additional frivolity, mayhem, mischief, merriment (what? no whirling dervishes?) and more OLDIES as the party rocks on and the band plays on, until closing time.

Here in Houston (and sometimes in Hoboken) "Oldies" is always spelled A-L-L-E-N!! Go party with Allen and wish him the bestest birthday ever!
