H-Town Rock

For the Week of October 26th - 28th, 2009

portobrien.jpg Goodness, we at Houstonist weren't sure we would make it through the weekend, but here we are again. Here's a list of what's going on this week to brighten up that rainy Monday you're having. It might be a tad on the light side, but we're sure the weekend will make up for it.

Houstonist knows that the wise call on Monday is to go check out California's Port O'Brien at Rudyard's. Local acts The Factory Party and While You Were Gone are on the bill as well.

Tomorrow looks like metal Tuesday at The Meridian and Warehouse Live. We'd like to recommend Blind Pilot and The Low Anthem at House of Blues. There's a possibility we'll be found at Super Happy Fun Land for South Carolina's The Working Title.

Finally, we'll wrap up the pre-weekend schedule with a stop at Warehouse Live for what should be a pretty low-key evening with Arthur Yoria. After all, Houstonist needs our beauty rest if we're going to hit the town properly this weekend.

Let us know where you'll be.
