Rock Talk, Vol. VI

rocktalk4.jpg Aww, have you been wondering what's been going on with music in this town, dear reader? Fear not, for Houstonist has been trolling teh interwebz compiling a recap for you. That's right, it's time for Rock Talk.

Remember GTRS? Of course you do, we practically pimped them out all last week. Well they've added mastered versions of their two new songs [Golden Deceiver and 666] to their MySpace.

Rumor has it that Blades will be playing a reunion show on December 12th.

Andrew Karnavas was caught at Coffee Groundz by The Businessmakers Overtime Show playing the song Valentine's Day off his forthcoming solo record.

Black Math Experiment will indeed be playing a reunion show at The Continental Club on December 5th. They offered up this video as proof of their first rehearsal in two years.

If you are/were/ever wanted to be a punker, make sure you get to The Mink tonight for the screening of Let Them Know, a documentary about BYO Records. Details can be found at http://hotpunkcity.wordpress.com. It's five bucks and features a punk flea market, among other things.
