Dave Wrangler dropped us a line to let us know you can download his NASA vs YACHT remix, The Mayor. He also promised that he has "a ton of fresh new tracks to send out in the next 45 days" and says his Under the Influence remix album will come out January 1st.

Team Science! Records just put out a 10" record from Franz Nicolay of The Hold Steady. It looks pretty sweet, and we can't wait to get our hands on it.

Local producer/emcee Jett I. Masstyr dropped a new instrumental album, Vacation on Tatooine, that you can get for free. IndieHouston has all the details.

Co-Pilot slapped five new songs up on their MySpace.

The latest Live from Joe Mathlete's Living Room features Hearts of Animals, and it is definitely worth watching.

Chelsea Hotel played at Röcbar on Sunday, and has a video to prove it.

Female Demand posted a video that features their 15 minutes from the most recent episode of Live From Sugar Hill.

Insert Name Here took their video camera to Summer Fest, and posted the result.

Thee Armada gave us a glimpse at what their Rocktober show looked like.

The Literary Greats' Ocean, Meet The Valley has climbed each week on the CMJ charts, reaching #123 in its third week.

Andrew Karnavas had a rather inspiring conversation with Jandek at Block 7. Jandek's advice? "YOU CAN DO ANYTHING YOU WANT. Fuck the world."

Eric Davis is lobbying for a historical marker that will pay tribute to Sam "Lightnin" Hopkins. We fully support this endeavor.
