Snow in the Museum District on Saturday

While Houston has a chance of snow this Friday, the Houston Museum of Natural Science has reported a 100% chance of Snow on Saturday, December 5th from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. - but there's a little, tiny catch to this fine opportunity to make a snow angel. You must be ten years of age or younger to go play. The upside? For a whopping $5, your child or children (10 or under) can have an absolute blast as they play in 80,000 pounds of snow, meet a real, live reindeer and see Santa all in the same time frame!

Also happening now at the HMNS, the Wortham IMAX is showing Disney's A Christmas Carol, starring Jim Carrey as Ebenezer Scrooge. The price of admission to the movie will gain you admission to the permanent displays at the museum the day of your movie. If you are "home for the holidays", the HMNS will be open.
