For the week of December 29th - 30th, 2009
Did you miss us yesterday? Due to some unexpected circumstances we weren't able to get H-Town Rock up in time. Everything's okay though, and we're back with a list of shows for tonight and tomorrow.
Tonight we'll be going by football, Etc.'s house to see what their late nineties indie/emo throwback becomes in an acoustic setting. We're also pretty excited about seeing Air Castle Mystery Solved, Lisa Marie Godfrey's folky songwriting project, and the fact that our $5 admission will get us a bottomless cup o' beer courtesy of the house keg.
Tomorrow looks like a pretty good night to slum it at Notsuoh, Houstonist style. After all, we've been on a minimalist instrumental kick for a bit now, and Pacific Before Tiger fits that mold. For those of you inclined otherwise, Walter's will be filled with metal brutality and Robert Ellis will be leading his weekly honky-tonking crew at Mango's.
We'll be back tomorrow with the latest installation of H-Town Rock - it's looking to be a doozy already. See you at a show!
