listenlisten's Hymns From Rhodesia made #39 on the list of eMusic's top 60 albums of 2009.

Balaclavas first LP has been reissued on vinyl on Dull Knife Records. Word on the street is that you can grab one of the 103 hand-numbered copies at Sound Exchange.

American Fangs has been recording some new demos during practice.

The Caprolites went into Dead City Sound this week to record their first full-length.

Many bands have announced releases to come in the next year. While we don't have all the details, here's a list of some things you can expect.
- A Thousand Cranes: Deer Park LP version.
- Bloody Hammer: 7" that will be going to press in the next month or so.
- Born Liars: LP in March, 7" in April.
- The Burden: Catholic Guilt EP/Vinyl [EP out now, vinyl version soon], Goon Life EP, Pain Worship full length.
- Corners: New release to be out in February/March, currently titled Man Vs. Bottle
- The Drunks: LP soon, just waiting to send it to press.
- The Energy: full length out in February/March on Team Science! Records, cover song 7" featuring songs from Tom Petty, Ramones & Reagan Youth out on Cutthroat Records in spring/early summer.
- Fight Pretty: Androphobia 7" single out January 2nd, Smoke Filled Womb full length in February.
- Fiskadoro: Safe 7" out early 2010, split 12" with Armedalite Rifles early 2010.
- Hell City Kings: 7" EP in February, LP in the summer.
- H.R.A.: Heavy Roach Activity LP, Split 7" with Lethal Aggression.
- Linus Pauling Quartet: Split 7" with ST37 [Austin] soon, CD of b-sides/etc. in the spring, full length in the fall.
- Omotai - Hull Breach EP in March.
- Prairie Cadets: Celebrity 7" in the spring, currently untitled full length in the summer/fall.
- Pride Kills: 7" out on Cutthroat Records January 30th.
- Roky Moon & Bolt: full length being recorded in January.
- Something Fierce: new LP on Dirtnap Records, European 7" on Narshardaa Records.
- Tambersauro: From The Last Day I Saw You 12" on Esotype Records.
- Western Standards: LP/CD in early 2010.
- The Wiggins: 7" out in the next two weeks on Needles, LP in the early summer on Dull Knife.
- Wild Moccasins: new full length coming in the spring/early summer.
- Fight Pretty / Ghost Town Electric: split tape out January 2nd.
- Ghost Town Electric / Roky Moon & Bolt: double split 7" out soon [in mastering now].
- 7" Compilation with unreleased songs by Born Liars, No Talk, Secret Prostitutes and more, that will come with a zine.
