We will give you more detailed proper tasting technique later (when we tell you about our tasting experience), however, for now, suffice it to say; you must not swill the Scotch. Let it open up on your palate (the middle part of your tongue), or else. Also, if you happen to have a spare, say, $200k sitting around, may we have it - there's a bottle of The Dalmore (which is, like, very old) out there with our name on it.
