Two Steppin In The Heights Pub Crawl - Manana

twosteppin.jpg First Annual Two Steppin In The Heights Pub Crawl! Get started at Beer Island (2631 White Oak Dr) between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. (you get a cowboy hat, swag bag and a wrist band) and from there, you pub crawl (anytime between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m.) between Onion Creek Cafe, Jimmie's Place and Beer Island, making sure to be back at Beer Island by 5 p.m. when Spain Colored Orange begins performing. Keep your wristband ON, Lone Star may give you a something, it may be special. There will be a drawing for a stay at a condo in Port Aransas at 5:20 p.m. and it all wraps up at 6:00 p.m..

Why is this happening (besides the fact that beer is involved, like, Lone Star)? Well, Lone Star is pimping a petition to make March 2nd, Texas Independence Day a for-real holiday! You can sign petitions at the following bars (the bar with the most signatures has a donation made to Texans Together on their behalf): Jimmie's Place, Onion Creek, Big Star Bar, West Alabama Ice House, Lizzard's Pub, Cecil's, PJ's Sports Bar and Griff's.

You must register to be entered in the condo-stay drawing. You don't HAVE to register to participate *read* partake of the following specials:

Beer Island: $2 Lone Star and $5 Beer Island Burgers

Onion Creek: $2.50 Shiner or St. Arnold (bottle or draft), $1.50 Lone Star and Lone Star Light (bottle) or $1.00 Pearl or Pearl Light

Jimmie's Place: $1.25 Lone Star cans $2.00 Lone Star bottles (buy cans, they are recyclable and no, we are not for certain they do recycle, but, it's the principle).

Drink Like You are In Charge of Your Ownself (don't be a dumbass). This afternoon of fun has been provided by The National Beer of Texas (that's Lone Star, fool) and Texans Together.
