Happy St. Patrick's Day: Where to Celebrate!

What a glorious day for some stout! Yeah, we know "Green Beer...blah, blah", you want green beer? Head to the nearest A&P and buy food coloring, tote it to the bar with you. If the water in the toilet is a weird color after you unload a pint or two, it's the F,D & C "whatever" color, really.

So, where do all the cool kids go to party like rock stars and be "Irish for a day"? Well, ya got choices...lots of choices. Here's a few of them:

Brian O'Neill's Irish Pub

Keneally's Irish Pub

Griff's

McElroy's Pub or, (Shay McElroy's Pub - downtown)

The Harp (don't ask for green beer, or do, double dog dare ya)

The Continental Club (Blaggard's, The Allen Oldie's Band, The Mighty Orq)
Oldies, Orq and Stout Irish Rock? Winner, winner, chicken dinner!

Mucky Duck

Molly's Pub

If you are "Irish for a day, Texan for life" - you can find deals on Lone Star today (there's not a rule that says you can't drink the National Beer of Texas and honor your Irish heritage, or Irish friends today:

Harp: $3 longnecks
McElroy's:$3 longnecks
Beer Island: Lone Star drafts are "special"
Jimmie's Place: $2.50 longnecks/$1.50 cans

Lastly, be responsible and either curb your imbibing or call yourself a cab! We like you just the way you are, safely navigating the roads and on the right side of the metal bars (that's the outside, just saying).

Pints, corned beef, cabbage and great company! Slainte!
