For the weekend of March 18th - 21st, 2010
While we may be up in Austin this weekend, that doesn't mean we took the music with us. There's an avalanche of shows in good ol' H-town, so go see a few and help some of the touring bands make a buck or two. Life on the road is tough, folks.
Our picks will be quick and concise so that we can go enjoy our coffee and survive this inevitable five-day hangover.
Tonight: you might have to camp out in front of the Toyota Center to snag a ticket, but go see Muse. Seriously.
Friday: Hell City Kings and Born Liars at Rudyard's. While you're there, snag a copy of the new HCK seven inch.
Saturday: Black Rebel Motorcycle Club with Band of Skulls. DO IT! 'Nuff said. Or, go catch Miike Snow - also fantastic.
Sunday: Depends on how you're feeling. Metal: Dillinger Escape Plan. Pop Rock: Never Shout Never. Local: News On The March tour kickoff. If we survive the weekend, we just might be at that last one.
