A Metro maintenance worker was shot 18 times last night by a co-worker during a feud over a woman, police say. The shooting happened around 11 p.m. at Metro's Hiram Clarke bus garage in the 4100 block of Uptown; according to the Chronicle, a man who had been transferred to another work location showed up at the garage and opened fire on the victim, killing him. "Some of the mechanics heard the shots, but nobody saw it happen," Dave Renfro, a service supervisor at the garage, said.
