Three local women were arrested this week on charges that they scammed 13 people out of as much as $20,000 by falsely promising them telephone counseling with Dr. Phil McGraw, his wife Robin and television psychic Sylvia Browne. Sad news from Katy: During lunch yesterday, a sophomore at Seven Lakes High School walked outside the school building and shot himself. The 16-year-old had a pulse when he was found, but he died at Memorial Hermann Hospital, KHOU reported.
