And now for something thoroughly odd: Last night, a man was killed on Highway 290 when he fell from the side of a moving 18-wheeler.

Granted, it's not much of a story, but KPRC's news item today about a car catching fire and exploding overnight on the Katy Freeway is pretty cool — because they have video of the car blowing up. Police are still looking for clues in the abduction of a woman from a northwest Houston Kroger store late Sunday.
