With over a year elapsed since Hurricane Katrina, New Orleans is still dealing with the aftermath of the storm. Despite efforts to rebuild, according to statistics reported by the nation's top three moving companies, more people moved out of the area than moved in last year. The city's population seems to have stagnated at around half it's pre-Katrina 455,000, falling far short of Mayor Ray Nagin's prediction of 300,000 by the end of last year....

Yep, we're laughing - a lot and loudly. Okay, so no well-heeled kitchen should really be without a stadium bundt pan - how do you tailgate without an appropriately shaped cake, after all. The horror! What would Martha say? Yo, don't forget the paper doilies, either! A good marketing campaign would have commemorative cake pans, designed to look exactly like the stadium hosting the Superbowl that year. At any rate, no party is complete without...

The great thing about being a grown up is that summer fun doesn't have to end at back to school. And since it still feels like summer anyway, have some summer fun, student style: (By which we mean costing as little as possible). Friday, August 25 Every summer, Theater Suburbia does what they call an "old-fashioned summer 'mellerdrammer'". Come boo the villain and cheer for the hero and the maiden fair in this year's offering,...
