Dr. Bill Gray, one of the most well-respected hurricane forecasters from Colorado State University announced today that his predictions 17 named storms, 9 hurricanes and 5 intense hurricanes remains unchanged from previous predictions. This far eclipses the averages of 10 named storms, 6 hurricanes and 2.3 intense hurricanes each season.
