Houstonist has a friend who works in the medical business. This friend once told us that anytime you see a person wearing scrubs in public it is because that person whats you to know that they work in medicine. See, our friend is required to change out of his scrubs before he leaves work, because the nature of his work means that his scrubs frequently come into contact with biohazardous material. Thus, anyone wearing scrubs outside of work is either lazy, biohazardous themselves, or wearing a fresh clean crisp set of scrubs in order to show off.
