If you've never been to Avant Garden, tonight's Flamenco Andaluz performance will be the perfect chance to experience the cozy and sultry atmosphere of this unique Houston venue. The regularly scheduled performances feature 2-3 dancers and live guitar accompaniment by Jorge Dahnke. If you're lucky and Joe is tending bar, be sure to order a Bloody Mary or one of his delectable shots.

Feeling the Music
Well-rounded entertainiment - lovely spanish food, incredible sangria and live flamenco dancing - what a deal! Reservations are highly recommended. Both their sangria and paella have been lauded as the best in Houston (per the Houston Press) and the Cordinero Jardinera (braised lamb shank) is totally off the hook, in our humble opinion. Tio Pepe is a great little family run restaurant on Cedar in Bellaire, the interior is unassuming and the service has never disappointed. Pricing is moderate and portions are somewhat large, so, bring an appetite.
The clap of the hands, the sounds of dancing and the mystical flamenco guitar all await you upstairs at Avant Garden tonight at 8pm.
