Houstonist joined the Harris County Democratic Party and the Seafarers International Union at the union's downtown headquarters to watch the inauguration of our nation's 44th President.

Want to watch the historic swearing in of the 44th president this Tuesday, but don't know where to go? Like many of us at Houstonist, you will probably be stuck at work and will have to sneak away to watch the inauguration. Mayor Bill will get the new year started by being inaugurated to his second term on Tuesday. Everything about the event screams "party": an inaugural address, guest speakers, Yolanda Adams.
