Houston should have a nice, partly sunny day tomorrow. Mother Nature's timing could not be any better, as it clears up for the 3rd Annual Rory Miggins Memorial Irish Stew Cook-off, located this year at the Continental Club. The festivities will commence at 3700 Main Street at high noon straight up 1:00 p.m., with entertainment both inside and outside until 6:00 p.m. Admission to this fine event, for a finer cause, is only $10 and includes live music, Irish dancing, great food, a Guinness Beer Relay and more (like raffles, which means prizes). Not only is the admission a bargain, this is a wonderful afternoon activity, well, gaggle of activities, conveniently located.
