There are few details about it so far, but a Porter couple was arrested yesterday for helping a convicted robber escape from a Fort Worth lockup. Last November, Houston lost a great singer/songwriter and guitarist when Chris Whitley lost his battle to lung cancer. Throughout his battle, Chris racked up some massive medical bills and also left behind a daughter, Trixie. Local and national musicians are gathering together to play benefit shows in his honor to help raise money for medical bills and to build a trust fund for Trixie.
