Lone Star Beer is bringing the Landowner's Challenge to Houston tonight. Griff's is hosting from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. and is centrally located at 3416 Roseland Street. Three lucky Texans were selected randomly from entries to compete for a parcel of lakefront property in Wildwood Shores on Lake Conroe.

FotoFest Opens tonight with a gala at the Hardy & Nance Street Studios. Beginning at 5:00 p.m., you can swing by and view two city blocks worth of 16 (sixteen, not a typo) foot high walls filled with works from photographers and photo-related artists. Plus, there will be wine, courtesy of Boheme Cafe & Wine Bar and Lone Star Beer. But wait, there's more - music, there will be music! Here's the part where you're wondering what this costs - a big bunch of nothing. This event and the beverages are complimentary, yes free! You pay bupkis. If you miss out tonight, the event will be open from Noon until 7:00 p.m. on Saturday (you can hit the St. Patrick's Day Parade, and then go see this stunning array of talent).
First Annual Two Steppin In The Heights Pub Crawl! Get started at Beer Island (2631 White Oak Dr) between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. (you get a cowboy hat, swag bag and a wrist band) and from there, you pub crawl (anytime between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m.) between Onion Creek Cafe, Jimmie's Place and Beer Island, making sure to be back at Beer Island by 5 p.m. when Spain Colored Orange begins performing. Keep your wristband ON, Lone Star may give you a something, it may be special. There will be a drawing for a stay at a condo in Port Aransas at 5:20 p.m. and it all wraps up at 6:00 p.m..
Three lucky Texans (randomly picked from all of the entries) will be competing in the Landowner's Challenge, the Lone Star Beer "Win Texas Land" promotion grand finale - a Texan Olympics of sorts. Up for grabs is a parcel of 1.9 acres in Independence (near Brenham). The West Alabama Ice House is where it all goes down, this Thursday, September 24th from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m..
