Houstonist loves "the dumpling nazi" and all of the tasty dumplings offered. Doozo is our lunch of choice a couple of times per week, we are completely, hopelessly in love with the dumplings and the hot and sour soup. If you go looking, Doozo moved a couple of months ago to the corridor behind their first location - and the prices went up just a wee bit. You can find them by seeking out the "tell tale line" that forms daily and runs out into the main walkway of the Park Shops. On our last visit, we just nearly fell over - the line was not moving as efficaciously as it normally does!!! Houstonist has that debit card commercial, the one by the same company that just completed and IPO, song rolling around in our heads - because it's so wrong!!! Now that Doozo accepts credit cards, plastic toting patrons hold up the line a wee bit (c'mon, move to the side so those who are paid up can go). Gone are the days of "get your cash out, state your order, pay and scram", which moved the line along at lightning speed. Whereas the Soup Nazi of television fame would never tolerate such, Houston's "dumpling nazi" is actually a very nice lady, running a delicious dumpling outfit.

Here you go Houston, more food and wine events for you to peruse. Also, we strive to give you some advance notice - as you can't always get your reservations or tickets, which ever the case may be, on the day...
