Oldies Birthday Bash - Saturday Night

A party is breaking out at The Big Top, in the 3700 block of Main Street. A birthday party for none other than the King of the Oldies, Allen Hill! Starting around 10:00 p.m. and lasting until 11:59 p.m., there will be a precursor to "the real deal" consisting of dancing and a fabulous musical performance by The Allen Oldies Band (we know it's fabulous because it always is, we can do that math).

It's Sum-sum-summahtime! What better way to enjoy a brisk summer evening than dancing like a fool under the full moon (well, it looks full to us, so we'll call it "full-ish"). The best dancing in Houston is had at any performance of The Allen Oldies that you can get yourself to, and there's one coming up Friday. Yes, Allen will have plenty of his special SPF 0 to save you from a moonburn, as the band heats up the new backyard at the Continental Club. We heard something with regard to a new pool in the backyard - now, if that don't pique your curiosity, what will (intentional grammar error)? Free tickets to the Summer Shindig are available with every copy of the band's new CD Ride the Wild Surf, which is a fair and reasonable deal at $10. CD's are available for purchase at Sig's Lagoon and Cactus.
